This reason Tevez Refuse to Play!

MUNICH, SOCCER - Manchester City striker, Carlos Tevez, finally spoke up about his refusal to play when his team lost 0-2 to BayernMunich in the Champions League arena, on Tuesday (09/27/2011).


Reported previously, manager Roberto Mancini has revealed shewants to give the opportunity for Tevez to play in the game as a substitute. However, the opportunity has been met with rejection by Tevez.

Mancini finally spend a share of substitutions by entering Nigel DeJong to replace Edin Dzeko in the 55th minute, James Milner toSamir Nasri in the 69th minute, and Aleksandar Kolarov to replaceGareth Barry in the 73rd minute.

"I just do not feel are in good mental to get into the field. So, I gaveit to Mancini's opinion," said Tevez told Sky Sports.

Tevez then denied he refused to play because it is often backed upby Mancini. "That's his decision. I've become a professional playerduring his stay here," said Tevez.

"Last season I was top scorer of the club and give an opinion that Iwant to leave because of family matters, but I still do my best atbeing here," he added.
