Referee apologizes to Antonini?

MILAN, SOCCER - AC Milan defender Luca Antonini, had goal chances which were not executed because the referee FlorianMeyer judge is in the off-side position in the first round Champions League match against Viktoria Plzen, Wednesday (28/09/2011).According to Antonini, at halftime, the referee apologized to him for his decision.


"At the end of the first half, the referee apologized to me becauseit's the off-side decisions," said Antonini.

Milan eventually won the duel with the score 2-0 thanks to goals from Zlatan Ibrahimovic (43) and Antonio Cassano (66). This isMilan's second victory in the last two games. Previously, they won1-0 at Cesena in Serie-A.

"It's important for us to achieve full points today. We win and notconcede. We could have sealed victory before the break, given thechances we create. However, our work continues to perform well with the pressure in the second half," he explained.
