SOCCER, Madrid: Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola willleave the Spanish giants at the end of the season after deciding not to renew her contract again. It is delivered to one source close tothe club, told Reuters on Friday (27/4).
"Guardiola told the club's president, Sandro Rosell, of its decisionon Thursday (26/4)," according to the source.
Guardiola will tell his players about his decision on Friday morningtraining session. Then, Barca will then issue a statement announcing the coach's decision.
Training is scheduled to begin at 11 am local time or 09:00 GMT(16:00 am GMT), the club's facility on the outskirts of the Catalancapital.
Speculation about the future of Guardiola at Barca kept sticking,after Barcelona knocked out of the Champions League since losing2-3 in the semi-finals by Chelsea.
Previously, Barca lost 1-2 at home in league matches against RealMadrid on Saturday, so they may not have another chance to win afourth consecutive title in La Liga. (Ant / DNI)
