Forlan Ready to Play in Position Everywhere

Image via WikipediaSoccer-Milan - Diego Forlan ready to make sacrifices for his newclub, Inter Milan. One form of striker 32-year-sacrifice is his willingness to not play as a spearhead.

Forlan has just officially become Inter players after leaving AtleticoMadrid. Uruguayan international has signed for two years by LaBeneamata and projected as a replacement for Samuel Eto'o.


"I spoke a little Italian that I learned as a kid, though I've forgotten a lot. I wish I could return it as soon as possible," said Forlan quoted by the Italian Football.

"I arrived at a great club and I can make the Italian language is much more adaptable. I'm happy here because Milan wasbeautiful, as well as the Inter fans," he said.

Forlan reportedly chose Inter because former Manchester United striker was able to play in various positions, as Eto'o. Problem is,Forlan admitted it.

"I want to play anywhere the coach asks me. Of course I willsacrifice as did Eto'o," said Forlan.

"In the Uruguay national team, I do not play as center forwardbecause we have Edinson Cavani and Luis Suarez. So, I act more as a trequartista," he explained.

"This is an important moment. I'm ready, mature, and have the right experience," he concluded.
